Wonderful antique architectural salvage mantel/ fireplace surround from the early 20th century. It is made of wood with French details including cherubs, ribbons and foliate decorations. There are layers of chippy and drippy paint all around with the original wood revealed in some spots giving it so much depth, age and character. A plywood enclosure appears to be added later, and this could be removed if preferred. A cool piece that will instantly add character and charm to your space.
Overall dimensions are 51" wide x 13" deep x 42" high.
Opening measures 28" wide x 9" deep x 28" high.
