Pretty silver overlay glass divided candy dish from the 1960's. Silver overlay glass was developed by German artisan Friedrich Deusch in 1907. Silver overlay was an exclusive luxury item that was not mass produced as it was a very time consuming process. Most pieces had intricate Art Nouveau design themes. A beautiful piece for your collection.
